My name is Ms. Ashley baker and I am the Social Worker serving Grandview Elementary, Fayette central Elementary. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and graduated from IU East in 2012. This is my third year as a School Social Worker. Prior to this I worked for three years as a Social Worker out in the community.

I am very excited to be working as a School Social Worker and have already met so many wonderful people since starting this job. A School Social Worker is the link between family, school and the community. School Social Workers assist both students and their families. One of my main focuses as a School Social Worker is to improve attendance rates. I also spend a lot of time meeting with students one on one and in groups. (See the "More" tab at the top of the page for more information about attendance)

I currently live in Liberty, Indiana. One interesting fact about me is that I have an identical twin sister. My twin (Mrs. Wildman) teaches 3rd grade at Fayette Central. This is her 6th year with the Fayette County School Corporation, so as you can imagine I have already been mistaken for her several times!

When I have free time I love to read, watch tv, spend time outdoors and spend time with my family.

That is just a little about me! If you need to speak with me about anything, check out the
"Contact Us" tab at the top of this page.
