Counseling Corner

My name is Ms. Bethany Sinkhorn.  I am the school counselor serving two schools- Fayette Central Elementary and Grandview Elementary of the Fayette County School Corporation in Connersville, Indiana.

 

I Earned my Bachelor's Degree in psychology at Franklin College of Indiana in 2013 (Go Griz!). I then attended Ball State University where I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology - School Counseling in 2015! I am so passionate about this work and love seeing all the wonderful students and staff everyday!

 

I currently live in Hagerstown,Just north of Connersville. I am originally from the southern Indiana Between New Albany and evansville. growing up in Southern Indiana gave me a great love for the outdoors. I live for exploring caves, forests, and rivers! I have lived all over the state since childhood due to my dad's job, but never in the Connersville area. I have enjoyed getting to know the area better.

 

When I am not at school I love to spend time with my enormous extended family, read as many books as I can get my hands on, hike as many trails as possible, and work on any DIY (Do it yourself) projects I can find. I also live for cheering on my pittsburgh teams - steelers, pirates, and penguins.
